Warminster Township Bark Park’s Mission Statement:
To create a fenced-in, off-leash bark park where well-behaved canine citizens can exercise in a clean,
safe environment without endangering or annoying people, property or local wildlife. To develop a
beautiful and well-maintained space open to dog lovers and friends who are willing to uphold the
park's rules and regulations. To view the park as a community project in Warminster Township,
designed to satisfy the needs of dog owners and non-dog owners alike. To promote education,training and recreational activities that facilitate responsible dog ownership and better-behaved dogs.

Paws Pass: NO mali-in registration will be accepted for Paw Passes. All passes must be done in person at the Parks and Recreation office.

Latest Update 08/26/10 . . .
Just a reminder to all Bark Park members… registration for 2011 membership will begin in January. If you are already registered, you need to update your paperwork, dog licenses and rabies info after January 1, 2011. For those new to the park, completion of an application, current dog licenses and rabies certificate and attendance at a Bark Park workshop are required. Applicants will receive electronic key cards for annual fees (Jan-Dec) of $25/Warminster resident household/year ($35/NR).
Pooper Scooper Ordinance
Ordinance #565 regulates animal defecation on public and private property and the disposal of animal feces. Pet owners are required to clean up after their animals, not only in the parks, but on all public and private property in the Township, or face a possible fine up to $1,000.

Puppy Preschool
This 4-week course will emphasize SOCIALIZATION! Pet owners with puppies, ages 2-6 months old, will address play biting, crate training and house breaking issues. Each class will have a Question/Answer period, object socialization, pass the puppy/handling exercises and topic discussions such as grooming, first aid and dog park safety. Puppy graduates will receive a certificate. Class size is limited and all owners must provide proof of current immunizations.
Basic Obedience Training
Over 6 weeks, dogs 6 months to 1 year will learn commands such as Sit, Heel with automatic sit, Sit at side, Down at side, Come and formal stay. Obedience and problem behaviors will also be discussed. Class size is limited and all owners must provide proof of current immunizations.
American Red Cross First Aid & Pet Safety
Date: Sat, Oct. 23
Time: 10:00 AM-2:00 PM
Fees: $50/person
Anyone who owns a pet, or is thinking about becoming a pet owner, is invited to attend this valuable pet first aid seminar. A representative from the Red Cross will demonstrate how to care for pets and what to do in the event of an emergency using dog and cat mannequins to practice animal choking, rescue breathing and CPR. Participants will receive a pet first aid book, supporting booklet, and pet first aid fanny pack kit. For more information, call Parks & Rec. @ (215)443-5428. Class size is limited.
Dog Park Safety for You & Your Dog
To make our Bark Park as successful as possible, we wanted to offer area residents the opportunity to learn how. In these single-night seminars, we’ll review how the dog park will work and, by educating the owners in dog behaviors we hope to reduce the number of problems. Owners will learn “Pet Etiquette”, pet and people safety, socialization tips, basic obedience. Q&A and handouts will be provided. Class size is limited; no pets please.
