Program is held rain or shine. Sign up online and in the office starting May 1st. No mail-in registration accepted. We’ve added more IPAP classes! Tots, ages 18 mos-4 years (IPAP), must be accompanied in the water by an adult. Please alert us to physical and mental challenges so your child can be taught accordingly. *Level VIII – Pre-lifeguard class is for advanced swimmers.

Please do not bring sick children to swim lessons. This causes health concerns for the other participants as well as instructors. Children must be able to complete all items in one skill level before they are allowed to move into the next level. Everyone will be tested on the first day of class. Camp WeeWancha

PRESCHOOL SUMMER FUN AT CAMP WEEWANCHA
Session 1: Mon/Wed/Fri, Jun. 30-Jul. 18 (Class Jul. 3 instead of Jul. 4)
Session 2: Mon/Wed/Fri, Jul. 21-Aug. 8
Time: 8:30 AM-12:00 Noon
Ages: 3-5
Fees: $175/R $195/NR
Location: Willow Dale Elementary School (New location this year!)

Although we have a new time (8:30 AM-12:00 Noon) and a new location (Willow Dale Elementary School), Camp Weewancha is still the same great program that has been providing fun for preschoolers for more than 25 years. From Astronauts to Zuniceratops, Camp Weewancha has a summer of activities planned for campers! It is a great way to prepare your child for preschool or keep him/her in an organized program when preschool has ended. At Camp Weewancha, we play hard, do arts and crafts, read stories, and have fun! Each week of camp has a different theme, and crafts, stories, snacks and songs revolve around that theme. Each session will take one trip. Camp Weewancha’s director is a certified teacher.

Registered campers will be invited to attend an open house before their camp session begins. Campers must be 3 years old and completely potty trained before camp begins. Campers who are 5 and have attended Kindergarten have “graduated” to our Playground Program. If your child is registered in an Early Intervention program and you would like him/her to participate in Camp Weewancha, please contact the Parks & Recreation office at (215)443-5428.
