Environmental Information

The Environmental Advisory Council and Warminster Municipal Authority will be hosting a tour of Well 10, 300 W Bristol Road, on Saturday, October 29, 2016 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The event is open to the public.

The Warminster Environmental Advisory Council (EAC) meets on the fourth Monday of each month at 7:00pm at the Township Building. The EAC serves to help the Township make sound environmental decisions with project implementation, provides community education information, and more.

Energy Efficiency and Conservation
Warminster Township encourages energy efficiency and conservation. Leading by example, Warminster purchases 20% of it’s electricity from renewable sources. Warminster received the 2009 Green Power: Turn It On! Award from Citizens for Pennsylvania’s Future (PennFuture).

There are several environmentally oriented businesses in Warminster Township. Businesses such as Vertical Screen Corporation and PNC Bank have built energy efficient LEED Platinum buildings in Warminster.
