McDonald Elementary Update

Representatives of Centennial School District are holding a meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, August 6th at 6:30pm to update the community on McDonald Elementary and the transition into the new building. Shepherd’s Crossing Grand Opening

On Tuesday, July 23, 2013 Christ’s Home Retirement Community held the grand opening of their new independent living community, Shepherd’s Crossing. Led by Mr. John Bryant; great thanks and best wishes were offered by former CEO Rich Smyth, Senator Greenleaf, State Representative Kathy Watson, Commissioner Charles Martin, and Township Manager Richard J. Manfredi, among others. A ceremonial ribbon cutting was followed by a nice gathering for the Christ’s Home Community.

Street Road Restrictions

Approved by PennDOT: “Utility construction for the proposed Wawa, Inc. on Street Road may cause periodic restrictions on Route 132 (Street Road) between Mearns Road and Route 263 (York Road) in Warminster Township. Work is anticipated to begin on Monday, July 22 and end by September 27. The restrictions may occur during non-peak hours, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for water main and storm sewer installations.”

Chairman signs Deed for Hart School

Warminster Township Board of Supervisors Chairman, Leo I. Quinn, III signed the deed returning Hart School to the Centennial School District at last nights meeting. Missing Person 07/15/13


The Warminster Township Police were advised that earlier this evening Ashley Keller was located and found to be safe and unharmed and Romulo Perez-Catalan was taken into police custody without incident. The pair were located in Illinois by members of the Federal Bureau of Investigations and Illinois law enforcement officers after an exhaustive nationwide search. Perez-Catalan will be held in Federal custody pending extradition by the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office. Perez-Catalan is facing burglary and related charges in connection with a burglary of a convenience store earlier this month in Warminster Township.

The Warminster Township Police would like to thank the various media outlets, the Federal Bureau of Investigations and the numerous Illinois State and local law enforcement officers for their assistance and effort in the safe recovery of Keller and apprehension of Perez-Catalan.
