2013 CAMP REGISTRATION NEWS (updated 03/15/13)
Please remember to mark your calendar with our registration days! We will take up to 400 children in our combined Playground and Teen Camp registration, so register early to have your child included!

PLAYGROUNDS (PG) & TEEN CAMP (TC)
These neighborhood recreation programs are designed to be different from day-care and structured camps. The program emphasizes multiple activities designed for each age group throughout the day - games, sports, arts & crafts, trips and special events - with a different theme each week. Flexible scheduling allows youth and teens to choose their favorite activities. PROGRAM HELD RAIN OR SHINE!
AGES: Playground 6-10 or Teen Camp 11-14
Playground: Children who have completed one year of kindergarten thru children who are entering fifth grade in September.
Teen Camp: Youth entering sixth grade thru entering ninth grade in September.
HOURS: Mon-Fri, 8:30 AM-3:30 PM
After Camp Care: Mon-Fri, 3:30-5:30 PM are available for an extra fee.
DATES: A (7/1-7/19 – 3wks)
B (7/22 8/9 – 3wks)
AB (7/1 8/9 – 6wks)
LOCATIONS: Log College Middle School and William Tennent High School
Fees: Discount Registration for camp will be held March 18 through April 19. Forms will be available in the office or you can sign up on-line at that time. All fees must be paid in full at time of registration.

Held each Wednesday and available only to playground & teen camp participants. Trips are optional, and parents should register and pay for trips at the time of registration. The camp site will be open for all youth & teens not attending the trips.
CAMP TRIP REGISTRATION can be done online, AFTER you sign up for the camp program.
July 3: PG/TC - At the Movies
Bring a lunch. This will be a late morning trip. Movie: TBA Fee: $9.00 (Snack Pack - $6.00 ea. extra paid day of the movie)
July 10: PG/TC – Arnold’s Family Fun Center
Includes lunch! Also, go-carts, laser tag, mini-golf and limited game points. Participants may bring additional $$ for games. Fee: $27.00
July 17: TC – Ultra Zone
Bring a lunch. Includes two games of laser tag and a limited # of tokens. Participants may bring additional token $. Fee: $13.00
July 17: PG – Nockamixon State Park
Bring a lunch, sunscreen, swimsuit & towel. This is an all day trip. Fee: $8.00
July 24: PG/TC – Trenton Thunder
Includes ticket to game, lunch buffet & transportation. Bring baseball hat, glove, & sunscreen! Fee: $28.00. Camp will be returning late, check the weekly newsletter.
July 31: PG/TC – Neshaminy Shore
Includes lunch. Bring a towel, swimsuit, sunscreen & a change of clothing. Wear your bathing suit under your camp t-shirt! T-shirts not allowed in the pool – wear sunscreen! This is a full day trip. Fee: $28.00
August 7: PG/TC – Philadelphia Zoo
We will spend the day checking out the animals and seeing nature at its best. Bring a lunch. This is a full day trip. Fee: $18.00
NOTE: Playgrounds and Teen Camp parents will only be allowed to register children in their household! Parents will be required to sign medical and disciplinary waivers. Payment plan is available for camp programs during General Registration only and must be done in person and post-dated checks must be left with Parks & Recreation at time of registration.

GET IN THE SWIM! SUMMER SWIMMING LESSON REGISTRATION
Two 3-week swimming lesson sessions (Mon-Fri) will be available starting July 1 or July 22 at Log College Middle School pool, Norristown Road. Instructors are certified. Program is held rain or shine. Sign Up Online and in the office registration starting May 1st. No mail-in registration accepted. All swim forms must be completed one (1) week prior to class starting in order to be officially registered. Classes fill quickly, so register early!
We’ve added more IPAP classes! Tots, ages 18 mos-4 years (IPAP), must be accompanied in the water by an adult. Please alert us to physical and mental challenges so your child can be taught accordingly. *Level VIII - Pre-lifeguard class is for advanced swimmers.
Please do not bring sick children to swim lessons. This causes health concerns for the other participants as well as instructors. Children must be able to complete all items in one skill level before they are allowed to move into the next level. Everyone will be tested on the first day of class.
