EAC 2023 Year End Report

Completed goals and Ongoing:

Public Outreach: EAC Webpage adding the EAC presentations to the Township’s You Tube channel – The Solarize Southeast Pennsylvania presentation on solar panels was made available on the township web page
Community Garden Repair. – Parks and Rec has the lead on this issue.
Centennial School Partnership. – Continue to work with Log College Nature Club.
Environmental Educational Series – Provided the following four presentations: Delaware Riverkeeper Network on Stormwater 101, Solarize Southeast Pennsylvania on home solar installation, Pennypack Ecological Restoration Trust on “Habitat and Stormwater Management in Warminster: The Headwaters of the Pennypack Watershed”, and Penn Environment on Plastic Bag ordinances.
Removal of Invasive Plants in Warminster parks. – Ongoing.
Climate Action Circles – Ongoing.
Recycling bins for the parks. Ongoing.
