2018 Fire & EMS Response Data

Every wonder how many how many calls the Warminster Fire Department, Hartsville Fire Company and Central Bucks EMS handle in a given year! Now you can find out by reading the Emergency Management and Services 2018 report (click here). The report will show you how great of a job our volunteer fire companies are doing, along with Central Bucks EMS.

Ready for 100% Renewable Energy?

Philadelphia and the surrounding counties are preparing for a future with little to no fossil fuel energy consumption. This will help clean the air we breathe and slow changes to our climate. The EAC is supporting a 100% renewable energy campaign in conjunction with other community EACs. The goal of the Ready For 100% Renewable Energy Campaign is to encourage Pennsylvania’s cities and towns to make a pledge to complete the transition to 100% renewable energy.

The Great Backyard Bird Count

The Great Backyard Bird Count is just around the corner—so take a few minutes to brush up on some of the birds you’re most likely to spot.

Whether you’re a beginner getting set to take part in this year’s count, or you simply want to know more about the birds you see on the regular, check out these helpful tips for IDing 15 common species. You’ll enjoy learning new facts about some familiar friends.

Tree Chipping

Thanks to Warminster residents, 359 Christmas trees were recycled this year and have all been chipped. Residents wishing to take advantage of the chips may take whatever they need until April 15th and then the remainder will be placed on park trails.
