RUBBER DUCKY REGATTA

Parks & Rec and QUAINT OAK BANK present this hilarious family event for its 25th Anniversary! Rubber Duckies float ¼ mile down the Neshaminy Creek to compete in a race to the finish line. First 4 ducks to cross the finish win a cash prize. Official ducky number tickets may be purchased online or at the WREC@WCP, and Library. Watch for details for the rescheduled event!!

Warminster Community Park Update

Warminster Township Parks and Recreation Department has been able to leverage multiple grants, a land appraisal, and public and private contributions to meet the match requirements for three different grants. We were awarded over $2.9 Million to continue development of Warminster Community Park. Away at College? – Don’t let up on Fire Prevention

Many of our residents are away at college now broadening their education, meeting new people, and possibly living “on their own” for the first time. Hopefully all the life lessons that were taught at home carry over to their new “homes”. Interesting data has come out of the National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) that shows the same fire risks that are in your home also exist in dormitories, fraternities, and sororities.

Pollutant Reduction Plan

Warminster Township is required to develop and implement a Pollutant Reduction Plan (PRP) for Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) discharges to the Neshaminy/Little Neshaminy, Pennypack Creek, and Southampton Creek as part of the 2018 National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) MS4 Individual Permit application to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP).
