SEPTA’s Maintenance of Way Division requires the stabilization of the existing rock slope adjacent to the Warminster Regional Rail Right-of-Way between Willow Grove Station and Crestmont Station. This slope is in Abington Township, north of Old Welsh Road behind a stretch of homes on Rockwell Road and South Parkview Avenue.
Construction will be performed around-the-clock during ten (10) WEEKENDS by a third-party contractor beginning the weekend of March 22nd and 23rd and conclude the weekend of May 31st and June 1st. Again, crews will work WEEKENDS ONLY.
As a result, the Warminster Line will require weekend busing for nine (10) WEEKENDS, as train service will originate and terminate at Glenside Station and a shuttle bus will provide service for all stations inbound and outbound between Glenside and Warminster.
