NEW PARK SIGNS PROJECT COMPLETED
The replacement of all Township Park signs was completed by fall of 2014 with donations from the Friends of Warminster Parks. All of the new signs are made from durable recycled materials and have a consistent design. New signs have been placed at all park entrances. Special thanks to Banacom Signs for donating several of these new park signs and some of the smaller directional signs needed in the parks. Businesses or individuals wishing to donate for additional signs should contact the Park and Recreation office.

ADVERTISE YOUR ORGANIZATION ON WARMINSTER’S COMMUNITY GATEWAY

Memberships to the Warminster Bark Park are available for area residents. For those new to the park, completion of an application, current dog license and rabies certificate and attendance at a Bark Park workshop is required to get a Paw Pass. Paw Passes (electronic key entry cards) are available for annual fees (Jan.-Dec.) of $25/Warminster resident household/year ($35/NR). EAGLE SCOUT/GOLD STAR PROJECTS
For troops looking for community service hours, we still need assistance with the storm water protection project. In accordance with DEP regulations, all of the storm water drains in the municipality need to be marked or stenciled with “no dumping”. Any troop or Eagle Scout interested in this project for community service should contact the Parks & Recreation Department at (215)443-5428 as soon as possible.

WARMINSTER SOCCER CLUB DONATES SHED
Warminster Soccer Club has donated a new shed to Warminster Community Park. This shed will be used as a concession stand and storage shed in season. Thank you to all the volunteers that pitched in and worked on this project.

GOT A SPECIAL EVENT, TRIP OR TOUR IDEA?
We are always on the lookout for new events and trips to offer our residents. If you have an idea for a trip or special event, and/or wish to become a volunteer for these activities, please don’t hesitate to call us @ (215) 443-5428.

PERENNIALS FOR PARKS
If you are dividing your perennials this spring, why not donate your “discards” to the Parks Department to improve our park landscaping. Due to limited maintenance staff, please call before dropping off marked plants at the Parks & Rec office between March 1 and May 1, as we may not have staff time to plant them. Or if you wish to help and install them yourself, just call (215) 443-5428 and we’ll provide guidelines for where to plant in the parks.

PHILA. REGION SPORT CAR CLUB OF AMERICA (SCCA)

They also offer Driving Skills and Teen Street Survival schools. Further details about these and other motor sports events sponsored by the Phila. Region SCCA is available at their website: WWW.PHILLYSCCA.COM
