News and Notes

THANK YOU
The Park & Recreation Department would like to thank all of the businesses and organizations that support our events and parks. Major event sponsors included Citadel, Cowhey Family ShopRite of Warminster, Gilmore & Associates, Southampton-Warminster Area Lions Club, Hatboro Federal Savings, Havis, Inc., JP Mascaro & Sons, Nancy’s Farm, MRC, Planet Fitness and Renk Electric to name a few.

A huge thanks to Grief, which donated 85, 55-gallon drums to the parks department for park trash cans. Without this tremendous support, we would not be able to provide events and activities to our residents free or at minimal cost. Sponsorship opportunities are available for events and park items, large and small. Call the Parks & Rec office if you wish more information about any of the services we provide to the community

PERENNIALS FOR PARKS
If you are dividing your perennials in spring or fall, consider donating your “discards” to the Parks Department to improve our park landscaping.  Due to limited maintenance staff, please call before dropping off marked plants at the Parks & Rec office between March 1 and May 1, or October 1-November 30 as we may not have staff time to plant them. Or if you wish to help and install them yourself, just call (215) 443-5428 and we’ll provide guidelines for where to plant in the parks.
